Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and pour a small amount of avocado oil (or high-temp cooking oil of choice) in the bottom of a casserole dish (or spray with cooking oil). The simple addition of pure maple syrup at the end of baking results in a lovely glaze that requires so very little effort. You can either replace them with something else or leave the recipe as is…it is plenty flavorful without!Ĭoconut Sugar: In addition to pure maple syrup, I use coconut sugar to generate sweetness and also form the crispy outer layer.
